Lyrics and Literature

Lyrics and Literature

Dear inspiring readers,

Some words we read, others we hear, some we feel, and some remain in our memories forever.
Last Wednesday, Beast House opened it’s doors to us as we hosted an inspiring creative pop-up event; Lyrics and Literature. We dove into how music and books intertwine, and how powerful lines whether from a lyric or a novel can move us just the same. Each verse held a story, and each story was interpreted through the unique lens of every reader and listener.

Let’s revisit these conversations here, and give the dialogue a continued voice.

🎵 “If lyrics are the heartbeat, then stories are the soul.”

We recalled the passages that always hit, the lines from songs and books that somehow knew exactly how we felt. Some shared the words that helped them navigate grief, heartbreak, or change. Others spoke of lyrics that healed or held them when nothing else could.

What we found was a shared truth: music tells a story. And just like in literature, storytelling and rhythm overlap. We asked each other, “What moves you more, a melody or a lyric?” The answers varied, but the emotion was the same. Words whether sung or written, carry the power to stay, stir, and soothe.

We highly recommend you to visit Beast House, and enjoy the vibes.
It’s a home to creatives and musicians. Whether you're looking for a fun night out, a dining experience, a conversation or an insightful workshop, go to Beast House.
